First, our little turkey is 15 months and counting! She is incredible in every way and daily she surprises me and fills me with huge amounts of joy and satisfaction. She had some shots a few weeks ago and her sweet doctor couldn't believe how TALL she is! I guess we don't notice because we see her everyday and don't really have anyone to compare her to except for on Sundays at church. She is miss social butterfly and has to go and visit all the people sitting around us and it cracks me up. She's almost walking...I know, she's really old to have not made that milestone, but she'll do it when she's ready. She's tall enough now to reach the water and ice from the fridge and to even open the front door! She's turned into a little comedian and laughs all the time at anything and everything and hams it up even more if you laugh at her. We were a little sad to have her last class at Kindermusik until the fall...she loves it so much and has learned a ton. She loves being around other little kids and still loves being outside as much as she can. Such a light she brings to our home and I'm amazed at how my love grows everyday for her.
A few weeks ago, Mark and I took our first trip away from Amelia. A little last minute and spontaneous, but those are my favorite kinds of trips! We hopped down to Las Vegas for a couple days and saw Love and Phantom. It was awesome! I splurged and rented us a Mini Cooper to cruise around in and anyone who knows me well knows that I had such a blast driving it! We hit the roller coaster at New York New York and had a chance to visit Natalie, but of course have no pictures of that. Her friend was able to get us in to a super swank pool at Lake Las Vegas and we had so much fun. We even made time to go to the temple while we were there. It was so great! We missed Amelia like crazy, but it was great to get away.

It was also my Mom's birthday last week and we celebrated by just spending the day together going to lunch and having everyone over for cake. Her only gift she wanted from us was to feed Amelia a bottle and put her to bed. So cute. It was such a fun day with our family and Amelia LOVED being around all the kids.

Last weekend we had a super fun double date and went to see Les Miserables and had a yummy dinner at the Roof. It was the first time I had seen it and man, it was awesome! Such a fun night with fun friends!
